STAFF

PROGRAM DIRECTOR-Benny Jenkins

Mr. Benny has been around for over 20 years serving youth in the Denison community. His ability to serve youth as a mentor and help our staff move our kids in the right direction is a major asset to the Club and the kids. A former HS and College football standout, Mr. Benny has a knack for "getting the message" to our youth

Teen Director-Gwen Harper

Ms. Gwen continues to amaze our kids with enthusiasm, imagination, and the ability to lead our teens in the right direction. Her ability to make important and good decisions makes her a great leader for our teens. PLUS, she is a graduate of SOSU!!

Athletic Director- J J Hughes

J J has been a life long Boys and Girls Club member. He reaches youth in ways many of us would never realize. His ability as a mentor and coach are what makes him a great fit for our Club. He has an ability to get the most out of kids in sport and in the classroom. He is also a graduate of SOSU!!

Site Director- Austin Bennet

"The Rev" as some call him is studying to be a pastor. Much like other staff, Austin is fantastic at teaching strong values and building character in our youth.  He is a valuable piece to our success and kids respond to him very positively and his calmness sets a tone during whatever he is teaching.

Site Director- Corie Watson

If you don't know Corie, you should. Somehow he has a way to make kids laugh and think confidently in themselves.  He enjoys playing and getting involved in activities at the Club. Perhaps his dance skills are worthy, but the kids enjoy when he plays great music and dances with them like no other. He has grown tremendously with the Club as a coach and site director.

Administrative Asst.-Kristen Testerman

Mrs. Testerman is one of the first faces you see when coming to the Club.  She is a former substitute teacher and also a committed part of her church. She does a wonderful job communicating with kids each day and also working with parents to help them resolve any issues they may have with the Club or their kids. She has been here 3 years and is an important part moving forward.
