STAFF

Ron Nixon has been serving the Denison community since 1994.  He has been acting Executive Director since 2013.  Prior to this he served as a Site Director and the Athletic Director working to bring athletics back into the Boys & Girls Club of Denison.  Ron is a proud graduate of Plano Senior High, and a member of the 1996 and 1997 Championship football teams.  In 1997 the Plano Wildcats had a perfect 16-0 season!  Mr. Ron is also a proud alumni of Austin College in Sherman, TX where his love for this community began. Prior to the Boys & Girls Club, Mr. Ron was an Athletic Supervisor for the City of Denison over 10 years where he organized adult leagues, tournaments, and many other community events.  Mr. Ron takes pride in working with the youth of our community and being mentor to the members of the Boys & Girls Club of Denison.

Ms. Rebekah wears many hats at the Boys & Girls Club of Denison, but her favorite is being creative!  She connects with our youth in a unique way with her love for a good book that takes you on an adventure and doing arts and crafts with the youth.  She brings a smile on her face and an opportunity to create an adventure each day!

Alicia started at the Boys & Girls Club as a volunteer, and now is showing her talents as the AD.  She is passionate about youth sports and the positive affect sports have on the Boys & Girls Club youth.  She ensures that youth are participating in Triple Play programing throughout the year, and oversees Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, Track, Volleyball, Softball, and more!  She is an athlete in her own right and is a joy to have working with our youth each day.  We are excited for what Alicia brings to the Boys & Girls Club and having her work with our youth each day!

Ms. Lindsey and Ms. Lea bring joy, calm, and comfort at the front desk!  They are ready and willing to meet the needs of our youth and their families each day.  We are excited to have them in this role!  They work hard every day to make the Boys & Girls Club of Denison a better place!

After spending the summer embracing our teens and the impact they have each day, Sierra will now be taking on duties to improve and develop the teen program to heights never before seen. Her goals for our teens are to impact the community and well being of our schools.
